A recent news at the IAA webpage ( IAA News ) reminds us about the past Guillermo Haro workshop, focused on IFS surveys (GH2013), which shows a great impact of the CALIFA results.

The GH2013 workshop brough together leading experts in the field at a very special moment, when the first batch of results from the leading large scale IFS-surveys are coming out. Scientists involved in the surveys ATLAS3D, CALIFA, MaNGA, SAMI and VENGA were present and discussed their hot off-the-oven results. More importantly, they brainstorm and exchange ideas on the numerous observational, computational and theoretical challenges posed by the new approaches enabled by 3D spectroscopy of thousand-sized large samples.

CALIFA was present with many different presentations for the more relevant results.
